This is my first recorded boss fight video. I looked around on YouTube and couldn't find anyone else who had uploaded the fight against Porky in English, so here's one of my own fights against him. Everyone in my party is Level 85 for this fight.

Woah! 85!?
I beat him at around Lv. 56, and I thought I was overlevelling a little.
Well, still, he was pretty easy, even at Lv. 56, as long as you do a few Defence Up Omegas and Offence Down Alphas :)

It was mostly physical attacks I used too >.<

Admittedly, I found the Masked Man well, the first time you fight him a lot harder than Porky.

Yes, Porky's quite easy, really. The Masked Man (the first time you fight him) is indeed a tougher boss, I think, as well as the Barrier Trio on Tanetane Island. Still, I have loads of fun with this fight. :]

I agree... Porky has actually taken a spot as one of my favorite villains of all time, next to Dimentio, and I don't form favorites lightly. =P

If you've played Earthbound/Mother 2, it's interesting to see your pompous, greedy neighbor rise through levels of importance and through the influence of Giygas become what he is in Mother 3. After the final confrontation with the cosmic destroyer, the now tech-savvy boy escapes through time and space, and into the time and setting of Mother 3, his body ravaged.

This all makes Pokey/Porky Minch a deeper character. I can definitely understand why he's one of your favorite antagonists.

Yep, I've played and beaten MOTHER 2/EarthBound also. Porky is definitely evil, but at the same time, he's still human in some ways. He can only take over a small village and some surrounding wild island, he's stuck where he is in time and space, his Thunder Tower is powered by exhaustable eels, his capital is nothing but an empty display, and he never got over Ness.

Indeed. However, if unless I'm mistaken, The Nowhere Islands are the only place left on Earth in Mother 3.
