Wait, no it wasn't lol.
Well, I spent the week with a lot of thinking and little doing. I didn't do anything on Halloween, I sort of slumped through as best I could, and I spent the whole time focused on Gaia and Guild Wars. Now that I've finished the Halloween stuff on those, I'm just really bored with nothing to do...
JROTC is going pretty good, which is starting to seem like the only highlight of school now. I'm so thankful I chose to get into this, because it's practically the only thing keeping me from just not caring. I know that if I put devotion into it and do everything I'm expected to, I might actually go up in rank and have a squad under me next year. Not to mention that PT is helping me get more active and something remotely close to getting in shape. *shot*
The weird thing about my squad is that there's a senior in it. and it's her first year of taking it. It's like she's watching over me and correcting what I do. For example, if I'm just talking with the other freshmen in my squad, she'll come over and do things like tell me where to move my nametag/actually reach out and fix my sleeves/whatever. It's not in a condescending way either, but I don't know why she's helping me so much when she doesn't do the same to the others... She's nice, and it's sort of like having an older sister who doesn't have the regular kind of sibling rivalry with you. xD
I probably shouldn't jinx it, though... She's a good person, and I wouldn't catch these things myself. .-. |
