Yeah, he should be able to send it to Microsoft. If hes lucky, it will be running for a few more months (more than 2) If hes unlucky, then it will die as soon as he boots up the console. |

Unplug it and plug it back in. If it has less than three rings, you should be fine. |

Oh, and I fixed it with a neat trick called "The Towel Wrap".
I overheated my Xbox to fix it, and it worked, now, I wait for it to die again... |
