This.
I had an account a couple years back. It was okay, at least the battling system was fast (instead of waiting several seconds to attack, Flyff is like "bam bam bam bam bam win").
It's just once I got the Hoverboard and could fly around, I was kinda like "okay... losing... interest..." |

I agree, the thought of flying was the only thing that kept me playing the game, they dish it out way too early in my opinion.
To work on that kind of reward system, you need to do it like WoW and wait until the player has already invested a significant amount of time and is already hooked into the game before dishing out larger rewards.
You can get the ability to fly in Flyff in about, a two days tops.
And after that there is nothing to keep you playing except the concept of faster boards. |

I just got done playing flyff a second ago I got like one lvl in sadly well I was pretty bored. |
