In the January issue Nintendo Power, it is revealed that a new TMNT game is coming to Wii as a 2.5D fighter. Developed by Smash Bros and Team Ninja staff, it will feature 4-player versus, online, and story modes. It is not tied to any show or movie. Produced by Ubisoft and should be arriving September 09.

This is being made by THE SAME PEOPLE who make Smash Bros games. On top of that, it will not be tied to any TMNT series, so people should not be turned off by the possibility of a 4kids storyline or anything. |

That, and Mutant Melee was 3D, so it was more like a PowerStone clone. |

Cool, I'll be waiting to see how this one turns out.
Honestly, I haven't played the old Turtles games much, but I remember them being pretty fun.
And an online, 4-player, co-op, beat-em-up is a dream come true: it's like the Wii's Castle Crashers, just with more ninjas.  |
