I've been playing this for a couple of days now, and so far I'm enjoying it.
The PvE stuff is pretty standard, with most quests being "go kill [number] of [thing]," but Public Quests make things a bit more interesting. Other than the PQs, though, it feels pretty much exactly like WoW.
The real draw of WAR is the RvR. I play on an Open RvR server, and unlike the PvP servers in WoW, there are no "safe" zones; you're flagged constantly. There are Scenarios, which are similar to WoW's battlegrounds, but the game encourages open-world PvP as well.
So, if you want a game similar to WoW but with a bigger focus on PvP, I recommend giving WAR a try. Or, if you already have it, make an Order-side character on Praag so we can do stuff together. |
