Chrono Trigger is awesome.
I played the original on an emulator when I was very young (since I was so young, I was afraid of the futuristic world), so, I still like the game today, lol.
I pronounce it "jaynus". |

I just beat it yesterday for the first time ...unsurprisingly, I got Ending #1 (using the Epoch, not the bucket)...can anyone explain that scene with Lucca at the very end?
Now I'm going through the Black Omen. |

Didja do the quest where you leave Robo in 600 AD and saved Lucca's mother?.
And the new final boss, the Dream Devourer, an alternate version of Chrono Cross' final Boss, is pretty hard. The only reason I won is because Ayla's Iron Fist managed to land a couple of crits. That's insta-9999 there. |

I never save her, so that's why I asked. The differences of that are: using the Epoch instead of the Bucket/Black Omen, recruiting Magus, preventing the legs of Lucca's mother being damaged. I think there's another one, but I'm not sure.
And when you think about it, Crono and co. just *crag*ed up the entire timeline. |

hmmm? I didn't think recruiting Magus (which I did) or the method of reaching Lavos depended on that scene...in fact, I flew the Epoch to 1999 AD, beat the game, then went back to the old file. I could still use the bucket...and I'm going through the Black Omen right now...I just killed the Tera Mutant.
and yeah, there are so many time paradoxes (is that the plural?), it's crazy... |

The ending's vary. If you killed Magus, he won't appear in the ending. And instead of the Epoch, you get balloons in the end if you use the Epoch to get to Lavos. |
