Since many Court Cases appear because of Reporters and the Mods that strike are completely stupid, here is a guide that might simplify things a bit. I will add to this as I come up with ideas. (Mods, move this to appropriate forum plz, I dunno if it should go in Feedback, or Hi-Tech Support, so it was placed here. Thx! Stickying it Might help too.)
1: Find Offending Post, then Check for the Following.
1a:If You See Flame, Check, Double Check, and Triple Check for Small Writing. (Even if You Don't See It, Quote the Post to Make Sure.)
If Small Writing is There, Quote the Post to See What the Writing Is.
If the Writing States that the Comment is a Joke, Proceed to Find a Different Post.
If There is No Small Writing, or the Small Writing is Questionable as Well, then ask Yourself This. "Is It Offending Anyone?". If No, Ignore. If Yes, Report.
1b: Is the Offending Post Off-Topic? If so, Check to See if a Previous Conversation Led to the Post. If None Did, Report it.
1c: If You See What Appears to Spam, ask, "Is It On-Topic?". Sometimes, Someone Might ask a Question About the Topic, in Which Case, a Simple Yes Answer Might be Given. If this is the Case, then Ignore the Post. If it is Related to the Topic, Ignore It.
1d: For Flamebait, See 1a and Follow the Steps.
2: ???
3: Profit!
For Mods
1: View Reported Post
2: See Above Steps (1a - 1d). Perform the Steps on the Post.
3: ???
4: Profit!
The Above Is Helpful Info, and Is Not Meant to Offend Anybody.

Let me add something really quickly.
If you're going to end a post with "lol jk" in small text, don't use size 0 text. Some browsers cannot see the text, which can cause people to miss it. |

You shouldn't have to go out of your way to see whether or not someone is serious. |

But, the world isn't perfect. So, quote every post you think is offending, just to make sure. |
