What had lay in front of you is a rather nice looking mansion. About two stories tall, exquisite windows, fancy door, lanterns... blah blah blah. Your typical luxury looking mansion from the outside.

But inside, it sounded like a phone was continuously ringing.

To investigate? Or not to investigate?

[Medikoopa]

Luigi seemed to be drawn to mysterious mansions like Yoshi to fruit.

He knocked on the door, having received a letter to meet someone here, if the letter was right, at any rate. "H-hello..?"

[Aran Ryan]

The front door opened up with an eerie sounding screech to reveal a rather dark foyer.

Dark as in... you can't even see your hands in front of your face... dark.

The phone, however, was still ringing.

[Medikoopa]

Luigi's curiosity got the better of his fear of the dark, so he slowly tippy-toed in the direction of the phone. He most likely tripped a number of times over things or walked right into doors, walls, and banisters.

[Aran Ryan]

The phone was located in the kitchen. And yes, it's still ringing.

Luigi is about three rooms away from the kitchen. A short hallway leading to the kitchen had a few lit fires, so... it'll give Luigi a bit of a break.

[Medikoopa]

"It's still ringing... Either the phone's broken, or someone is really desperate to reach this place."

After a moment's reprieve, Luigi continued on his way.

[Aran Ryan]

At least it's not a Banana Phone. The phone itself was hung on the wall right next to the refrigerator.

[Medikoopa]

He took the phone off the receiver.

"Hello?"

[Aran Ryan]

"Good night." A familiar voice spoke... as a cage dropped down from the ceiling on the green-clad plumber.

[Medikoopa]

Luigi yelped and dropped the phone as he ducked and shielded his head.

((Typically my reaction in any sport involving things flying through the air towards me.))

[Aran Ryan]

With a loud clank and slam, the cage imprisoned Luigi. Then, the floor right where Luigi is began to lower down... toward underground.

As the plumber decended, visibility was at zero. It is DARK!

[Medikoopa]

The cowardly twin of Mario remained in his crouched position, as if trying to expose the least amount of his body to the darkness and to danger.

[Aran Ryan]

Eventually, the plumber's destination was reached. The decending stopped.

Even in the darkness, he would be able to see a familiar gold crown with rubies on it shine about.

[Medikoopa]

Poor unfortunate Luigi yelped again and tried to get as far away from King Boo as he could.

[Aran Ryan]

Cue the lights turning on. Kamek sat on a throne-like chair in front of the cage, holding King Boo's crown.

"Welcome to the dungeon of my haunted house, plumb scum!"
