kinda like the dump or general discussion, but with some sort of confirmation needed that you are willing to look at and talk about whatever's in there, and that there may or may not be adult content (by that I mean cussing, or being perverted or whatever, but not posting porn pics or anything, seeing as that's against forum rules)
I mean, honestly, most of the people here are going to cuss and be pervs anyway, might as well give them a forum to get rid of that so they don't bring it into the rest of the site... |

I'm not going to point any members or topics out, but it seems as though some of the people here have been wanting to talk about more adult-ish things that probably shouldn't be on the site...
or maybe Francis should just flash his banhammer at everyone and show us what he can do by putting a few people in jail to try and intimidate the rest of the members. |

Bridget even made a Parachat room, where you can swear, so why not use that?

I doubt many of us are over 18. I meant more like a limit of 14.
It's not like we're going to be cybering in there o.o
Besides that point, nobody goes on the chat room, or WANTS to go on the chat room, and the pervy stuff ends up in the dump... then someone reads it and gets offended and we get into a big argument and it causes trouble. |

If there is a single forum with less restrictions on profanity and sexual innuendos, then it's going to be mostly that in there. It's going to be the Dump for perverts, such as the Dawn "fanboys". |

I suggest you guys wave the jail keys and banhammer around to try and get the perviness to stop, then...
because there are easily offended people out there that don't want to look at that stuff, and some people are going to post that stuff anyway.
Maybe make an announcement. Issue warnings.
But somehow you have to take more action than just deleting the images. |

Again, I don't mean a forum so we can make a topic that says "OMG BEWBIES" over and over again.
I mean MATURE discussion, things that younger users would NOT want to participate in. I never said it was 100% for "perverted" things, it's simply a forum for things that kids might not want to talk about. Maybe we can put topics like the "Racism" topic suggested by Lord Bowser in there, and since it has an age limit and/or a disclaimer, we would get mostly mature members replying to the topic.
And I don't mean posting naughty images and saying "LOL BEWBS" over and over either.
General Discussion seems to be utterly failing at it's job that I previously suggested. How many people are actually SERIOUS when posting there? In fact, lately it's been nothing but quizzes all over the place! |

Call me crazy, but I don't think it's such a bad idea. The conduct at The Dump isn't exactly kid-friendly. If we have a forum dedicated only to the more mature subjects, that would cut down on the perviness and such over at The Dump.
There's not any real reason not to create this forum. The only risk is that someone under the forum's age (which I suppose is 14 or something) pops in and gets offended, but the forum will clearly state the matureness of it, so, I really think it's a good idea.
Of course it'll be moderated heavily in case there's some real trouble. |
