PROPISITION
This news team thing didn't work out, it is never going to work out, and there is a very good reason why.
People are *crag* lazy bastards.
I prupose a new tactic.
Once a week an article is selected from the Gaming News & Reviews forum.
This article will appear on the front page as a regular news post with the author's name.
This solves the problem.

Problem: Good GNR posts don't occur very often.
Unless there was a way to motivate more people to post actual reviews, and more interesting news. |

I disagree that the news team didn't work out mainly because people were lazy. It's because we let too many people in (Which was my fault) while plenty of them stated they wanted to help but truly didn't care for it, and the people who did want to help didn't have the power to post things on the front page or make "official articles" (Everything had to be submitted to Francis who would then post it on the front page, and that whole sense of "control" is really what killed the project, I think).
If the news crew were to start again- with a limited number of official, enthusiastic staff members who could post official articles on the front page- it probably wouldn't be a failure (Look to Zeldauniverse.net or Finalfantasy-xiii.net for examples as to how this would work. No, this isn't advertising.).
Of course, this idea works, as well. |

FRONT PAGE IS MOTIVATION
IT'S LIKE ART CONTEST BUT NOT THE SAME
Or Cid's idea.
The biggest problem in the first place is that all news would have to pass by Francis.
THIS SHOULD NOT BE AN ISSUE. |

The thing M'aiq never really liked is that nobody ever specified what anyone was supposed to do. All he ever did was say "M'aiq wouldn't mind doing game reviews" and then nothing happened. |
