After so much time with the Mortal Kombat, and other arcade games, Midway has officially gone out of business, and Sega has a debt to pay, themselves. And if their new lineup of games doesn't sell, then you can kiss Sonic the Hedgehog GOODBYE, FOREVER!! It would basically mean that Sonic would only belong to the fans, as their Sonic fan games would be the only Sonic games you'll ever play. And with XM Satellite Radio going out of business, and the two game companies going under, then I can kiss my job at GameStop goodbye, and just have no choice, but to live off the fat of the government, and not work, unless I can learn how to work on a farm, and grow vegetables.

A couple of game companies going out of business doesn't mean GameStop is doomed.

M'aiq remembers only hearing that Midway is at risk of going out of business.

And SEGA better not *crag* go under, M'aiq wants more Phantasy Star. M'aiq doubts Sonic would die if SEGA exploded, he sees them selling the rights to Nintendo.

Yeah, but Nintendo is Nintendo. *crais*

It just seems so predictable. It's not like SEGA wants to bring out a good Sonic anytime soon.

First off, you *crag* don't know anything.

Game companies sell their licenses when they go under.

Second, Sega is not going to go under anytime soon. If you haven't noticed, they have released a ton of GREAT games recently.

Just because Sonic sucks doesn't mean their other properties do.

Third, you don't *crag* know anything.

If anything, Midway might sell the Mortal Kombat licence to Warner Bros, or even Capcom, and we might end up with The Street Fighter Team being challenged to a Mortal Kombat, and we could see powered up versions of the Street Fighters' Trademark moves as Fatalities. Imagine a Shinku Denjin Hadouken that would literally destroy opponents. That's a power that not even the Dark Hadou can match up to!

He said it for two reasons:

A.) MK vs DCU is the most recent MK game.
B.) Every fighting game fan has wanted SFvsMK since the first generation of games, even Ed Boon says he'd jump at the opportunity. MK and SF were the Mario vs. Sonic of the Fighting genre.

For his MK Vs. Warner Brothers fighting game fantasy.
