It looks as though an English version is heading our way. I don't know if I'll get it if it doesn't have that Final Fantasy XIII demo the Japanese version has. Of course, if the film does have 30 minutes of additional content like I've heard (Don't quote me on this), that may be enough to make the film worth a second look.
So what M'aiq would want to know is this: Will it make the rest of Cloud's party more than sideskits? Seriously, it was really annoying how they slapped 80% of them in for maybe 20 seconds each.

Seeing as Advent Children was originally spawned from the unhealthily Sephiroth/Cloud-obsessed fangirls' demands, it seems unlikely.
Which is a shame, because the rest of the crew was just as awesome, if not more awesome. Nanaki- for instance- only had one line in the entire film.
As did Cait Sith, Yuffie, and Cid. Poor bastards; I liked them LOADS better than Clod McEmopants anyway. :<
Of course, but Cloud wasn't emo. Not in the original FFVII, at least, where both he and Sephiroth were far more badass. The reason Square decided to make them emo in AC was to make them more "omg they're so lovable XOXO" for the unhealthily-obsessed fangirls.
The main reason I haven't played FFVII (Besides not owning a playstation of any kind) is the fangirls. I'd probably watch this if it weren't for the whole "CLOUD IS TORMENTED BY PERSONAL DEMONS BOO HOO :( /wrist" idea.
