As a Sequel to Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon and prequel to Rune Factory 2, I think it looks quite good and has hopefully fixed some of the little errors of its predecessors. Note that it isn't 'Harvest Moon' anymore; it's now its own series.

I am excited for this. You get it in two weeks, I have to wait half a year.

Hmm... With the info on the site, I have decided my plans for the game.

I'm gonna *crag* Cinnamon, Anette, Bianca, Melody, or Selphy. And then I'll have a 5 children and fuse them to make a super-shild.




Actually, though, I can't wait for the game. My brother has Rune Factory 2 for his DS, and I've played enough to want this one.

I'd get 2; in one, it's impossible to fight and walk at the same time, which can get annoying.

The normal Harvest Moon series has been rahter disappointing to me; the only Wii game is a shitty port (with the dialogue unchanged and bad controls) and the DS game got screwed bythe censors (which means you can'T get the super items because OUT OF THREE EFFING MINIGAMES TO GET THE MEDALS HAVE ALL THREE BEEN REPLACED BY THE SLOW MEMORY ONE. I am NOT going to grind for 50 hours.))

So, yeah. Lotsa expectations, and hoping that it'll be good.

I loved FoMT.

I might rent it and try it out, and if its a game that will hook me in for at least 2 years, I might get it.

The only thing is the generation stuff...

You play for like a couple of in-game years, spawn child, and once you build a school, you'll have to start over wit the kid. Kind of an in-game soft reset. All relationships, etc.

Might be fun.
