My art teacher decided to have us go to the art museum today. We walked around the place for three hours straight!
And then we walked back to campus.
My feet still hurt and class ended four hours ago.
In other news, I made an emote. |

I drew ten and recreated one in Illustrator. |

I used to live in San Francisco, and walked about a mile a day without getting pains. And I was 8! |

Full of it. And regardless of whether you're lying or not, bear in mind that I'm an indoor-person. I hardly go outside but I run around indoors a lot in spite of it and I often carry heavy loads of school-supplies on my back and arms. I'm used to slow walking, but not walking for hours on end. Especially not three straight.
And considering it takes me 20 minutes to walk 9/10ths of a mile (timed it), I walked for more than a single mile you annoying jerk.

Yipe! How was I supposed to know the statistics about your walking speed? Or if you're an indoor person or not?...I'm not an annoying jerk. |

You're a jerk for boasting about how you could walk a mile without getting tired at eight years old.
I live in a major city too, but that's besides the point: if you walk for hours on end, you get pretty darn tired. |

That statement is completely relevant to the person in question. For instance, I can run for a few good miles before I begin to become tired. I'm fairly certain I could walk 10 miles before I became tired.
Foolish human girl...
*smacks with frying pan*
BE NICE!
I'm assuming due to the fact that you live in a city, you don't exercise as much as someone like myself...though I too live in a city...but that's beside the point.
Arg, now I'm just going in circles.
Basically, I'm attempting to say I understand how that might feel to someone like you, and that what's-his-name there IS indeed being an ass. Take into account the situation others are in next time.
Blah blah blah WHATEVER! On to more important matters. Did you see any interesting pieces at the museum? Also, that's a fairly entertaining emoticon you made. ^-^ |

Ouch. I can relate.
I had to walk 2 miles from school every afternoon for the second half of my 12th grade year. I'm not energetic. Plus, half of it was in the middle of winter, and I'm sensitive to the cold.
Hopefully the ache is gone by tomorrow. |

This will sound odd, but trust me on this. You want your aches gone? Do some stretches first of all, and then...
take an ice bath. That will honestly help out A LOT with the pain. I guarantee you'll feel fine by tomorrow, if not sometime tonight if you do.
Just soak in a bath tub cold water for 30 minutes. It relaxes your muscles, so they can begin to regenerate themselves.
Though, you probably already knew that. |

Hot tubs > Ice baths for aches for me.
Of course, I only ever get a hot tub when we rent a condo that has one over summer vacation. Hot water feels so good. :3
Of course, I again despise the cold. |

I can relate. Shopping is equally bad, especially when I don't want to go out, but am dragged out anyways. Right now, after walking to the store for groceries, and spending a couple hours getting stuff, it kinda hurts my feet, but it'll be fine. Just keep your feet warm or something like that. |

TCH: Keeping off your feet for hours on end helps too.
Also, the ache has been gone for at least thirty minutes.
Maiq: Ouch. I often walked home from highschool, but since that mile was usually at a very casual pace and I often would stop along the way to get something to eat from a convenience store, small restaurant, or the deli, or even the Blockbuster near my house, time passed by fairly quickly. Especially if I had my MP3 Player. When it snowed, I almost always took the bus.
Chaos Heart: I saw Prometheus Bound again. I love that painting! And I saw a very large painting of Christ on the Cross... Blood was trickling out of the wounds and there were literal modern-style nails in his feet! *shudders* I may be a Christian, but I personally feel that the constant depiction of a man in terrible agony for hundreds of years in rather poor taste. I mean, if you saw many people depicting the last horrible days of life a beloved member of your family, wouldn't you be upset at that? And yet everywhere I happen to see Christian artwork, it's usually that one horrible scene.
Aside from that and the feet-pain, I had a pleasant time. There were a lot of cool sculptures and I happily avoided the modern art section, as we had a limited amount of time and I only just managed to cover the majority of the place. |
