I am allowed on it so far just for homework, which is pretty much limited to Psychology essays, the rare Art History essay, and Computer Graphics stuff.
I am trying to convince her to let me have it for weekends for non-work purposes, but she can be rather stubborn.

She means her mother took it again because of her grades.

3D design was a real pain in the ass for me, but hopefully it'll help if I tell you I managed to pull through when I had it. |

I mean they're portable enough to be taken from someone for any reason whatsoever. Mine got taken and I have to use sister's PC or school comps. Stupid cutoff from video gaming community. |

They've done that with my PC before as well.
Zelnor: It was a gift for graduating highschool. I once tried to compare the act to theiving when she pointed out that I did not have the recipt. I'm 19, nearing 20, and she still treats me like a child partially because I live under their roof and they are paying for my schooling (which, as they are teachers at my campus so I get a major discount on tuition, they pretty much only have to pay for books and art supplies).
But truth be told, she is really scary when pissed and I just have a problem talking to her about stuff. Especially school-related or punishment-related. My voice just locks up and I start bursting into tears whenever I even think about the possibility of her in a fit... |

My PC is lying in a pile of components, caseless and disassembled, and I want it back soon... Hell, I'll start saving up, get a job maybe, I need a new rig, one that'll stay hidden from my parents' searches. Wish me luck, as I wish you luck in your negotiations. |

Well, those people have raised you all their lives, so you're imprinted on them. I wouldn't cross my parents easily, too...
It's weird, because you know you're right, but you just obey them sometimes even though they hold no actual power per se. |
