Alright then, lemme clear things up for ya.
I wasn't causing drama, nor was I flaming. The topic was asking a question. As for the "You guys are morons" portion, I wasn't direct, and I wasn't serious either. That's just... how I talk.

Oh, please. I don't see how that qualifies on either of those three terms.
1) The term 'moron' is one no one finds offensive anymore. Seriously. It's just like calling someone an idiot, only using a synonym.
2) That is in no way flamebait, either, since it's bad on your part if you get offended if someone were calling you a moron.
3) I don't see how calling people morons qualifies as negative drama.

It doesn't really seem all drama-ish anyways.
Unless someone starts to whine about the jailing. Then, THAT would be drama.
Besides, I don't think drama is grounds to strike someone. (If it is, disregard that.)
Flame, not really, since it doesn't directly say -insert name here- is a moron. Not too flamebait-ish either. Unless, of course, some TRUE moron decides that being (or in most cases, not even) indirectly called a moron over the internet is a horrible, horrible thing and the person doing it must be flamed for it. Then, it's more of the other person's fault.

Well, Francis suggested that I can still do stuff as President; mainly interpreting the rules and stuff. Guess I'll come here more often, then.
This does not count as flame or flamebait. Even though Postman was clearly posting things that may be considered spam or flamebait, Sync did not. Members have the right to ask why a member was jailed (Even if the reasons were quite obvious.) As for the "you guys are morons" part, minor flame isn't something that is worthy of being punished. Something along the lines of "You mother *crag*, I hate all of you; this site has sucked since the beginning of history, you all fail at life" is flame, and is flamebait; however, if someone is offended by something such as, "you're a moron," then the issue doesn't lie with the accused, but with the accuser (For being overly sensitive about certain things.)
No, Sync is not guilty. Lock this case and call it a day.

Flame/bait, it wasn't. That was ridiculous.
It COULD have caused drama, tho. But hey, it didn't. (People, look at the topic title as well.)
Not Guilty, but next you make a "questionable" topic, keep the essential part in the topic rather than on the title, and maybe add a previous warning of possible drama. |
