I wanted to take some pictures of the beach, obviously... I mean, it was a really nice day. So I walked down to a beach access. It was a really nice one, that had benches in front of it so you you sit down and look out at the ocean, and the mountains on the mainland. Of course, my only camera is a video camera that isn't built for taking nice photos, so I couldn't get anything as nice as what I could see. Probably because the mountains look white against the sky.
I could have went to a closer access, but I didn't really want to use a rope to get down a steep hill. Even though that part of the beach is... like... made out of plates of stone. It's really cool.
I walked down the stairs to the beach. It wasn't the sandy part, it was the rugged, rocky part that's covered with driftwood. It was still really nice, though. In fact, I like beaches like that more than sandy ones (unless I want to swim). There were a lot of ducks, geese, and sandpipers down there... there was this one gull that wouldn't shut up as well, haha.
Walked across the beach for a while. Almost got to the sandy part. Also, we don't have white sand on the beaches here.
I took a few pictures, but I didn't take many because I forgot my SD card in my laptop. And they all look really zoomed out because, well... I hate digital zoom.
Walked back up another beach access. About half-way back to my house, I almost got hit by a car being driven by some people who I think might have been some of my former classmates. They stuck their heads out the window and yelled at me. I'm not sure if they yelled anything, I'm pretty sure it was just "AHHH". I just shrugged it off and kept walking.
yeah. |

Canada DOES have ducks. They're hard to find, but they're here. Beaches are used for walking shoeless on. They were made for whatever purpose they serve. That's right, I can't think of a good natural reason why beaches exist. |

wtf we have ducks everywhere.
Also I like rocky beaches too, except I hate huge rocks in the water because they're all slimy and gross. ): We only have one sand beach here and we never use it lulz. |

It's separated into a really rocky part, a part that's basically just flat plate-like rocks, and a sandy beach.
We have a lot of sandy beaches around here, but the closest accesses to my house all lead to the rocky beaches. |

That looks a lot cleaner than what I'd expect the beach closest to me looks like. Really.
Cleanest beach was probably the one I went to in Malaysia in ... 3rd Grade. It was one of those white, sandy beaches that you'd see in a commercial. |
