Yo, I'm Seiteki.
I'm a web design freak.
Seriously, it's what I do in my free time, design useless layouts and systems for sites, or even mod existing ones. I find it fun.
I even do other scripting/coding languages, I like to create things.
I also am a Super Moderator over at Facepunch Studios, the official community for Garry's Mod. You know, the one for Half-Life 2.
Don't take that as advertising though, this place is cool. My profile is here.
It's got a theme about it, like it's part of SPM.
So yeah, this is a thread and that's me. |

The forum admin, garry, did the rating system from scratch.
I've been trying to imitate it lately, without any decent results.
So I'm just sticking with modifying punBB since SMF is too cluttered for my tastes.
Something I've done in Garry's Mod with Lua Scripting is this tracking hud;

As you can see, it shows the player's name, location relative to me, and remaining health in percent and distance in the ingame units.
It's kind of cluttered on the right side, but that's an older version of the hud, newer one lowers the alpha of the track as the player get's farther away from me. |

How do you like punBB? I chose phpbb just because its popular and has been around for a long time so I figured it would be the most solid security and feature wise. |

Pretty decent forum software, I've got it up over at http://sei.usersbox.com/
Keep in mind the index is a portal and not included in vanilla punBB. |
