I haven't played it yet, nor seen much of it, so I don't know how good it is through my personal experiences. Why would I kill myself when I don't know much about it other than it's good? You're so silly.
I was planning on playing it sometime recently, anyways. I'll see if I can get it sometime soon. |

I've played Earthbound a couple of times on the Super Nintendo, and it was NOT nearly as good as people say it is. In fact, it sucked. I tried to like the game, I really did, but I just couldn't get into it, due to the fact that it has such mediocre and boring gameplay. It was just absolutely painful to play. I haven't played the first and third one yet (nor do I have any plans of doing so), but judging from the gameplay videos I've seen on Youtube, those two are guaranteed to be just as bad as the second one.
I will never, EVER be able to understand why the Earthbound series gets all the hype it does. Seriously, that game is probably more overrated than any Final Fantasy game you could possibly name. Everywhere I go, I see people acting as if it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Aside from the fact that Nintendo of America refuses to localize it (supposedly due to legal issues or whatever), what is so good about it? Why is it that such a mediocre game like this is being met with so much worship? I just don't get it. |

A correction, most FF games aren't actually that famous, until VII came out. I-VI were pretty much considered cult classics. |
