Since I started playing Super Paper Mario for the WII I have been inspired.
The art that is so flat yet so 3d at the same time blew my mind and filled me with need to see how far I would take it in my own abilities as an artist. If has now been 4 months since I started playing paper Mario. I have like most of you completed the game and still spent countless hours running around enjoying all the optional content.
However alot more of my time has went into creating art. I have created a web comic that is inspired by the art of paper Mario. There is not another online community that would appreciate this art the way digibutter would it to being completely inspired by Paper Mario. Please let me know what you think of my comic.

IMO, it's good and all... but the characters are VERY large (with the first guy taking up basically a whole frame), and the characters for the most part looked like they could be designed in paint (though I hope you didn't do that)
It's very nice, yes, but as always, you CAN improve. I can't do any better than you, so I can't really critisize you, but I'd like to see your art improve. |
