Finally I am able to draw something less suckish with my tablet. I used the manga program (I don't actually make comics with it yet since I can't think of a plot and it takes forever for me to draw anything decent) to stick in the stuff in the background and such. Because I felt like messing around with it. Here:
I don't know why the background didn't go transparent when I told it to. Hmm. |

Eyes are abit too small, or abit too high up on the face depending on the style. Other than that, it's pretty good. |

Most realistic face proportions also apply to manga, such as the eyes are around halfway down the face, not near the forehead. Your head needs room for a brain. It's common assumption to think that the nose is the center point of the face, but it's much further down. Your ears seem to be around a good spot, but notice how the top of the eyes are lined up with the top of the ears, not all the way up.
Try your best to learn how realistic people look; manga is just stylized real people. |
