I have orientation for college on July 31st, and I'm starting on August 31st. Moving in on the 29th, I think.
My roommate found me via Facebook, since he went to an earlier orientation. Thankfully, he's also going into animation, and he's into a lot of the same stuff as me, so I have a feeling we'll get along.
My dorm is a brand-spankin'-new semi-suite. That means it looks like this:
Yeah, it's like living in an awesome hotel room, son.

Yeah, most of the other dorms have the dungeon feel to them. The dorm I got wasn't outrageously expensive, either. I think it was about $3300 per year, which, compared to a lot of other colleges, is a damn good deal. |

No. Freshmen are often required to live on campus at their own expense. And dorms are available for all students, not only freshmen. |
