Yeah, my suggestions suck. But I have another idea; how about a journal-type forum, where everyone gets their own topic to post about their life in a journal-like fashion? I got the idea from another forum that I go to, and it works out very well, like if you're going to let everyone know that you're going to have surgery or something.
