At Gamescom in Germany, Sony just announced a brand new firmware update featuring an updated XMB, tons of new avatars, a brand new type of theme, and much much more. All this is coming Spetember 1st.

That's right folks, the PS3Slim. It will be $299, holds 120GB, is 33 percent smaller, and 36 percent lighter. It will be availible the first week of September, a lot sooner than I expected.
Finally, LBP has some huge news: water and GOTY edition. First, the Game of the Year edition will come with 7 sets of download content, 18 exclusive new levels, and a beta key to ModNation Racers.
Lastly, LBP is getting something users have wanted since day 1... Water...
Whew, I'm so pumped for all this new stuff. If you were ever considering buying a new PS3, now would be a great time.

water isn't enough to get me back into LBP. I want gameplay. not shit that shoulda been in the game when it came out.
If this isn't "gameplay" I don't know what is. Water is even bigger than the Paintinator.

A release date for water hasn't been announced yet. Plus, the video says it's part of a new kit, which means we could be getting a lot more than just water. And I'm thinking it will most likely be free like the last creator kit.
