The voices in the japanese version sound funnier then the U.S version.

You wrote it to the wrong animal. It's the only reason.

The green box is where you select the animal:



After looking over the video, he wants you to send it to the 4th person in the green box. The one right under the word "wants"

Er... Hate to break it to you, but you don't "beat" Animal Crossing. After you complete a few boring tasks for Nook, you're free to do what you want. In fact, you kind of need to be able to understand what they're saying to play the game. A Japanese copy of AC is pretty much useless to someone who doesn't understand Japanese.

If I remember right, the only way you can truly "beat" Animal Crossing is paying off all the debts and getting the gold statue of yourself.

its because they actually speak in high-pitched japanese, if you listen closely to what the animals say in the U.S version of AC, they speak english, but high-pitched and really fast
