2. why do we use damaging items on each other?

1. A double-post is the term used for when somebody makes one post, and then another that comes directly after it - by you, the same person, and with no other posts between it. You can be penalized for it, so it's suggested that you avoid it when possible.

2. We use them in an attempt to knock someone's HP down to 0... or to just mess around. Whatever. Razz Anyway, when someone reaches 0 HP, they 'die'. This means that they're sent to the Underwhere, a special forum in which only the 'Dead' can post. Certain privileges, such as the ability to use items, are lost when you're dead. Your avatar is also replaced automatically with a gravestone to indicate that you are 'Dead', and cannot be changed.

Also, if you double post, but the 2 post are more than 24 hours apart from each other, you won't be penalized.
