I'm sending in my Wii to get it repaired. Don't have to pay anything. They even pay for the shipping! |

Way better than Microsoft's way of repairing your console. Nintendo always comes on top. |

M'aiq had a broken Wii and a broken down 360, the only difference in what happened was that the Wii went and came back in 10 days, and the 360 took about 15 days.
Partly to blame is the fact that M'aiq lives practically light-years from the nearest repair stations for both.
Can't really judge things without personal experience. |

IIRC, all 360s have a free 3-year warrenty.
Or perhaps all those news articles lied. x.x |

Too true. I couldn't get my 1st-player Wii Remote to register with my system one day (for what seemed like apparently no reason), and I tried everything that I could, including resynchronizing the remote several times. I finally gave the Nintendo customer service a call for the first time ever, and the guy at the end of the line soon suggested that I completely unhook and then rehook my system. I did so, turned on the Wii, and (I think maybe after resynchronizing one more time) everything worked out great! The customer service was helpful, it solved the problem fast yet didn't feel rushed. |
