There needs to be more items that use MP. Elemental items, perhaps? You know, that cause things like freezing and burns?

Freeze : can't post for an hour
Burn : lose HP over an hour (1 HP every 6 mins. so lose 10 HP in total)

There needs to be more damage dealt... how bout 3 damage over an hour? They'll definitely be able to heal by then...

Fire Flowers are more traditional Mario. Fire Bursts are only SPM.
