? Block, on the beach, gazed across the endless, undulating waves of the ocean. "How ironic," he muttered under his breath. "This will end at the same place it started..."

"...Yeah..." another voice next to him said. ? Block turned in surprise. "Nightshade? What are you doing here?" he asked.

"...You mean you haven't figured it out yet?" asked Nightshade. "I wasn't created completely from nothing...the basis for my existence was the last person you saw before using the B Block."

? Block froze suddenly. "...V?" he said quietly.

But Nightshade had already begun to descend into the ocean. Pausing for a moment to regain his composure, ? Block followed after him, now wondering whether Nightshade could be classified as a him or as a her.

"How much of V's DNA does he or she have in him or her?" he wondered.

For a brief, chilling moment, ? Block suspected that Nightshade was all that was left of V.

"...Wait," said ? Block. Nightshade turned around. "What is it?"

"Are you...I mean...V..."

Nightshade stared at him. "I suppose," he/she said slowly, "it could be said that I am V. But what you knew as V is gone. She cannot be brought back."

? Block sighed heavily. "I expected as much. But I had hoped..."

Nightshade turned around. "Hoping does nothing," he/she said. "You should know that more than anyone."

"...Do you...still have V's memories?" asked ? Block. Nightshade rolled his/her eyes. "You're becoming obsessed with this, you know. But, if you need to keep asking the questions, fine. The answer is no. I'm just a mind that was put into V's corpse. After I had gotten accustomed to the body, I changed it to my liking. We're here," he/she added suddenly.

? Block suddenly paused. "You know," he said slowly. "Now that I think of it, it WAS pretty obvious...but, whatever. Jastin! Come out and face us!"

A pair of eyes opened up, staring at them from a cave. A sinister cackle erupted from them. "?...looks like you've come. Ah, and you brought Nightshade, along, as well. I assume she has told you about where she came from?" So, she's still considered a girl, ? Block thought. There goes one of the mysteries about her.

Nightshade narrowed her eyes. "Yes, I did tell him," she replied. "Now come out and face us. I've had enough of you..."

Jastin chuckled. "All in due time. First, however, I believe you should try and permanently defeat J..."

? Block blinked. Wait...hadn't Jastin been banished from J's body before? This was getting confusing...

*Versu warps in far away, but close enough to hear*

Fancy Wario · ? Block

A flash of light indicated J's arrival.

"Excellent...everyone is here. Nightshade, you may fight J. I, however, will fight ?..."

The red eyes disappeared into the cave, and ? Block followed after Jastin.

Suddenly, the cave was flooded with light. Jastin, a tall, freakish, skeleton creature, glared at ? Block. "Do you see what I have become, thanks to you?" he hissed. ? Block glared back coolly. "It matches your personality much better, that's for sure."

Jastin whipped out a blade. "Do not test me," he snarled. "Thanks to you, I have had to hide my face from the world for years. This is the moment that I get my revenge..."

Suddenly, ? Block felt cold. He could feel that Jastin had gotten more powerful over the years...

"And now, you shall face justice..."
