In case you're wondering, I've put together the truth on how hard different parts of a Buzzy Beetle are.

First off, the shell. The shell is clearly very hard and is even resistant to fire. It is harder than that of most Koopa Troopas, and is shiny. Very Happy

The head is fairly soft and vulnerable, but since it is such a small target, Mario is incapable of jumping on it. It is also, contrary to popular belief, resistant to fire. Throw a fireball at the head in NSMB, SMB, SMB3, etc., and you'll see that it doesn't do anything.

The bottom of a Buzzy Beetle is a fairly weak, but is partly protected by the shell.

The limbs of a Buzzy Beetle have an ordinary hardness, like the bottom of a Buzzy Beetle combined with the bottom of the shell.

The top of a Buzzy Beetle, underneath the shell, is extremely weak and vulnerable, and red in color. It's like it has -5 defense or something. It's one of the reasons that we stay in our shells when jumped on, instead of coming out like Koopas sometimes do.

There you go. Very Happy
