You've likely seen the other thread I made about the console junk, here's more.

First of all, some things for Popple I'd like to get out of the way:

-You say that one of the things that makes PS3 so great is the Blu-ray, which you also say is pretty much guaranteed to win the format wars. How do you know this for sure? I've seen movies in HDDVD and in Blu-ray, looked very much the same to me. I'd go with the one that is cheaper, thanks. So heres another question: What makes Blu-ray so damned special?

Now then, I'm sure you all want to hear my opinion about why I'm probably not getting a PS3 anytime soon, so here it is:

I already have a 360. Why? It has the exclusive games I want. The only game I would honestly give a damn about on the PS3 as of now is LittleBig World, and that alone isn't worth the money. The only other games I'm looking forward to that are coming out of the PS3 are, in fact, going on the Xbox 360 as well. Why buy another console when I can just get the game on one I already have?

Now then, I am very much content with my 360. Me and my brother have plenty of good games for it, and yes, while some of them are on the PS3 also, the above reason comes to mind:

"Why buy another console when I can just get the game on one I already have?"

I will admit, once the PS3 finally gets some games that catch my eye, I may end up getting one(if nothing else, just to say I have all 3 consoles).

Popple and Francis have already complained about the $50/year of Xbox Live. I'm not complaining. If anything, I consider it payment for the convenience of being able to track down/talk to anybody, no matter what game they are playing. No headaches, no loops , it's just "Hey, you want to play (game) with me?" when I feel like it.

(Another thing I look forward to is the Universal Guild implementation that should come out in October.)

So in the end, I enjoy the console, I enjoy the games, I enjoy the service, and that's all that really matters to me.

I just felt like doing my own (hopefully)non-flame bringing opinion here, so yeah...
