Yeah, I know that already. The manga finished some time ago, IIRC, but the anime is only on the SPOILER ALERT Near and Mello arc.
But that spoiler you mentioned was really well done, IMO. Really epic. |

Meh, if you started to watch it, you'd probably find out before it happened anyway. It's pretty much the Death Note equivalent of Sephiroth killing Aeris. Or Snape killing Dumbledore.

Don't worry about it. I knew those two spoilers. I read the Harry Potter books and the Aeris thing is basically common knowledge nowadays.
And I was joking in the first place -_____-
And the Santa comic scared me. I saw the first 2 panels, looked away, I look back and the screen scrolled down to the last panel. I seriously jumped. |

A genius named Light (Raito) finds a notebook on the floor walking home from school. He discovers that the notebook has the power to kill those whose names are written in it. Light uses it to kill the world's criminals to build a new world and become its god. However, eventually, the police is after him, along with with the world's best detective, codenamed L. And then, there's lots of plot twists and complications.
Anyways, that's the basic idea of it. You'd have to read it to really understand it, and how good it is.
