Street Fighter is probably the better fighting game, I bought it day one when it was released on the SNES... but back in its heyday, Mortal Kombat was awesome and the talk of the school. Seeing a Finishing Move for the first time... tons of hidden stuff like fighting Reptile and Smoke... the whoopie man... it was like an adventure.
So I can't really pick one. To me both represent the peak of 2D fighting glory days. |
