I dont think reviews should have to conform to any strict guidelines, or a scoring system. As long as they get across what the game is like, thats good enough for me. I personally like to hear about the little details (like load times) that can ruin or make a game great.
Scoring is kinda pointless, and really, all games fall into these categories:
Amazing game, will be fun for all time. Your life is incomplete without.
A must play game, no one can deny that it is good.
Some will really like it, or it may not be your thing.
Blah, been done before, maybe worth a rent.
You want the hours of your life back you lost while playing.
Unplayable. |
