Ganondorf awoke. He had been in the middle of a duel with that Hylian brat that dared to stop him. The brat that had taken a piece of what was rightfully his.

The Gerudo looked around his immediate area. This was surely not his castle. There were strange pig-statues, all holding an image of the Triforce - his Triforce! The only light in the room came from the small torches on the walls and the four stands in the northern part of the room, next to the two stairwells.

"What is this place?" he muttered to himself.

[Captain Blue]

Oni Link had entered the now-formed pyramid of power through the front entrance. He turned to see ganondorf. "I believe this is the pyramid of power, made long after you were defeated by the kid." He then blew out the torches on the sides of the room.

[Medikoopa]

Ganondorf looked over at the stranger. He looked a great deal like that little urchin, but... Different. His hair, the strange markings on his face, the color of his clothes, his eyes... He bore a resemblance to Link, but was so very different. A doppleganger, perhaps? Maybe a twin - he frowned at the thought.

"Defeated? He has not bested me. I was in the middle of fighting him when I suddenly was transported to the strange 'palace'."

[Captain Blue]

"Then the fabric of time has been distorted. You were supposed to have been defeated by the kid, banished to the sacred realm, then be brought back to kill the descendants of the sages, only to be beaten again."

[Medikoopa]

Ganondorf was up on his feet and glaring at the manifested mask within a matter of seconds.

"Cease your infernal lies." he spat. "I will defeat that Hylian brat and take what is rightfully mine!"

[Captain Blue]

"With what? If you return, all you'll do is prove my point. Your own magic will be used against you, then light arrows which make you vulnerable. Then you'd transform into ganon, only to lose again and have hyrule castle collapse on you. History is written in stone, and there is nothing you can do to stop it."

[Medikoopa]

"Lies! Lies, all of it! I do not know what your reasons are for attempting to deceive me, but you have failed. I will kill that pathetic 'hero' and take what is mine from his bloody corpse!"

As he spoke, Ganondorf was nearing the end of his patience with the Link-lookalike. And his patience was short normally, so this was no small feat.

[Captain Blue]

"It is not deception. You have the power to kill him, but he has the ability to turn the tables. Simply by using the master sword, he can reflect your magic right back upon you. If you wish to defeat him, it would be advised if you avoid using magic projectiles and simply pummel him up close or something to that effect." Oni Link drew his Helix Sword. "As for me, don't even think about trying to kill me. It isn't going to happen."

[Medikoopa]

Ganondorf had a scowl on his face. He clearly did not believe Oni Link, but he began to wonder where his own weapons were. Upon searching, he discovered that his tools were gone. He tried to tap into the power of the Triforce, but something was blocking him, just as the same mysterious thing was blocking the magical powers of everyone else that had been brought to the duplicate Palace.

[Captain Blue]

"Looks like this place has removed our magic and weapons. However, since the helix sword is a part of me, it seems as though it has remained. You're at a disadvantage, 'King of evil'. Might as well quit while you're ahead."

[Celeste Dimentia]

(( Indeed, it is an unfair advantage. No character, even those considered immensely strong in canon, should be spared. But hey, it's not my RP. And the Mattersword is a part of me, but I'll have it gone, too, since recovering our powers and weapons is most likely part of the plot in future. Also, lol, Tower of Ganon interior map. I was just there on my ALttP Virtual Console file yesterday. ))

Dark Link rose up out of the ground, taking solid form. He shook his head slightly and then looked around, taking in his surroundings. He did not know this place... but he did recognize the Dark Lord Ganondorf, speaking with a strange, silver-haired person, who looked remarkably similar, yet also different, from Link... the hero that spanned all ages.

[Medikoopa]

Ganondorf was close to ripping apart the Link duplicate with his bare hands when he noticed a new arrival. Another Link... Wait... if it was what he thought it was...

"... Weren't you defeated by that Hylian pain-in-the-rear a couple days ago in the Zoran Water Temple?" he asked the Shadow Doppleganger.

[Celeste Dimentia]

"Well... I was waiting for him, just as you assigned me to," replied Dark Link swiftly. "He entered the chamber and discovered that the door marking the entrance to the dungeon's treasure room was barred with steel portcullis... he then turned around and caught sight of me. I leapt forward to engage him in immediate combat, but as soon as I did, I found myself faling forward into Darkness instead... it was familiar to me, yet strange. The Chamber of Illusion faded away... and I reformed within this place. Do you happen to know just where we are, by any fortunate chance?"

[Medikoopa]

"Evidentially it is a duplication of a building not yet constructed. Or so he claims." As he spoke, the Gerudo shot a glare at Oni Link. "He also claims that the little pest will defeat me. But he is wrong; I will defeat Link, claim the piece of the Triforce he has, and resume my rule over Hyrule."
