The Legend of Zelda:
Phantom Hourglass
Game play: Epic
Controls: Could be better but still great
Storyline: Basically Dementi-owns other zelda plots
Difficulty: easy/normal
Graphics: Possibly one of the best cell-shaded(cartoon like graphics) DS graphics ever.
Bosses: could be tougher but very original
Enemies: Some are epic, some are trite (old)
Overall: 9.9/10
thus making it my favorite Zelda game to date. |

i personally give it a 10. or a 9.9. and i think its my favorite zelda game, but on my review in the Gaming News/Reviews section, I gave it a 9.8, because I wasnt being biased, and I wanted it to be reasonable, and when I make reviews, I never give games perfect 10s |

I have played Wind Waker, and this game hardly ties into it at all. TWW had the best story of any Zelda game. This game's story is extremely generic, although it does admittedly have the Zelda charm to it. |

Even if the story doesn't tie into Wind Waker, it's still a great game. If I recall, Majora's Mask didn't really tie into Ocarina of Time story-wise. I mean, yeah, there were references to OoT, but it had a completely different story.
Same goes with Phantom Hourglass. The plot isn't directly related to WInd Waker, but it never would have happened if the events in Wind Waker didn't happen.
