Might it be an idea to be able to create groups of members for things like shared interests... (e.g Members with a Pixl username (like me) to have a group called "The Pixls", another group e.g "The Nintenfans" etc.)
How it could work:
1) One person creates a group
2) If someone wants to join there is a link called "Join this group". They click this and a "join request" is sent to the group creater (like a PM)
3) Group members can also send "Joining Invitations" to other members who can reply to them.
I think this might make the forum a bit more Active/Lively
What do you think? |

Those were pre-defined groups though.
We have relationship items which do something like this, but they are only like groups of two people. What we need is a relationship between an unlimited number of people.
I have wanted to add user-defined groups for a while now, and it has been suggested a few times already, so I know its something we need.
Now, if you want your group to have its own discussion forum, then that complicates things. |

Yeah that would get a bit TOO complicated. Just the idea of user-defined groups is what i meant. I think it could work. |

I agree with this. Having separate forums might be too much of a headache, but user-defined groups kind of like the relationship item would be really cool. :3 |
