Just a little drabble that sprouted from a play on words... Wouldn't work in my language...
Nastasia – Aftermath
As she stood unmoving at the side of the Heart Pillar in Flopside, her thoughts roamed all dimensions. He was gone, gone away, gone one, it didn’t matter, he was just gone and she was still here. She felt just out of Schedule. Sometimes one of the Heroes would visit her, and she’d talk to hem how she felt, and then they left and she pondered more. The frown had locked on her face like the mask on that cursed Dimentio. If she could, she’d revive him, just to let her “colleagues” tear him to shreds, again and again and again… But she couldn’t, because she had an appointment of hope. She had sworn to build the perfect world the Count had dreamed of, together with O’Chunks and Mimi. But then again… Wasn’t he already in his perfect world with her? As she wandered aimlessly around Flopside, she found herself standing on top of its tower, and she looked directly at the huge black door. It lead to the Castle they abandoned, led to another world. And she knew that in Flipside, on the mirrors other side, there was the same tower, with many colourful doors leading in all sorts of worlds, and even these worlds were only a tiny percentage of all that existed…
But it didn’t matter to her, because the worlds were - countless. |
