Power is a term that is used very often, though it is thrown around very loosely. What does it truly mean?
By fault, mankind strives to be greater than one another, and their greed brings them to commit murder. They wish to take control of the land, and with it comes "power".
Many may say the opposite of power is weakness. Though what people consider power changes what the consider weakness. A poor man may be stronger than a rich man. A thief may hold more honor than a knight. A sick man may be of more use than an insane man. And so on.
Though, a mask symbolizes freedom. Freedom to explore, and to become what ever you want. If we were to break the chains that bind us to our human limitations, and if we were to live in peace... Than the world would be much better. |

By the way, I managed to take that damn mask off. Stupid thing tried to master me, but I remain in control.

Hm... I've met many men of great power. My apprentice, for instance. He had such potential, but allowed his power to control him, in the end.
Such is the way of things, I guess. |

I ditched the kid a long time ago and took on my form. And those are actually the King's roids. As for you...I'm a dark god. You're just you. So basically I am above you.
OOC: I don't know if the mask is the essence of a god because Wikipedia, yahoo, and google sank on my comp o.o |
