Here will be written the methods to go at the pits as early as possible in the story. There after, it will be discussed as for the best method to go through the pits successfully.

Flipside Pit of 100 trials:

1. Play the adventure until you get Boomer, in chapter 2-1. After then, you can use the Return Pipe to go back at flipside.

2. Go to the outskirt of Flipside. Go to the lowest floor, where you will see a plateform of white blocks with colored circle on them above the pipe entrence/exit. Note that you will have to get Boomer to go at this area of Flipside.

3. Use Tippi and search for simmilar blocks that are invisible. Press the A button while pointing one to make it visible, and usable. Search the area for 3 to 5 of them.

4. With the blocks visible, you can now access to the plateform above the pipe. Go there, and flip to 3-D. You should see a corridor at the left. Go through the corridor and flip back to 2-D. Now here's the switch that opens the entrance to the Flipside Pit of 100 Trials! Activate it and then you can enter the pit.

Flopside Pit of 100 Trials:

1. First, you need to beat the Flipside Pit of 100 trials, then play the game until you get Cudge. Use the return pipe.

2. Go to the Flopside Outskirt's lowest floor, where there is a 4 x 4 set of white blocks over the pipe entrence/exit. Note that you will have to get Cudge to go to this area of Flopside.

3. Use Tippi and search for simmilar blocks that are invisible. Press the A button while pointing one to make it visible, and usable. Search the area for 3 to 5 of them.

4. Scale those blocks to the plateform over the pipe. This time the blocks move, but it won't be so much more difficult then the last time. When you're at the plateform, flip to 3-D and go through the corridor at the right. Flip back to 2-D, and you will see a dimentionnal breach that can be flipped by Fleep, if you have beat the Flipside Pit. Use Fleep on it, and hit the switch that comes out. You will then have access to the Flopside pit.

Pit Walkthrough Methods:
(Awaiting for suggestions).

Seems like solid information, I always thought you had to have Luigi to acces them until about a week ago.

Excellent! I'm sure having the infinite 3D from the Flopside Pit will be way more fun with some actual game left over to play through. I'm gonna try that myself.

If you come accross an excellent strategy to beat etheir of the Pits, don't be afraid to share the info.

I would go and find one, if only I wasn't so lazy to plug my Wii AND I didn't have to leave tommorrow for one day or two (and I have to bring my Wii where I'm going).

Dottie is excellent for the Pits, the enemies ignore you. This can lead to problems regarding some enemies that only shows up when they can see you, but most will be easy with a Dottie-using Bowser (the fire breath is good for the unstompable enemies, no matter how small it is). However, you can only get Dottie in the last chapter of Cragnon. So for the early flipside pit I don't have any serious ideas.

I already did the early flipside one once, at the exception it was rather after the chapter 2 altogheter. All it took me was Boomer, Slim, Fried Shroom Plates and a Shroom Roast. I had to use items as soon as possible, so I could be able to use more items I came accross. I made it on my first try on that one...

I see what you mean, Flipsides Pit was not really that hard. I heard Flopsides is a pain though.

Wait a mintute. Are you saying in the Flipside at a early level can give you more items? Thought that the items are rare.

Well anyway Flopside itsn't that hard. You just have to level up more like to level 30. Which I haven't reached yet because I got to to rent the game again. And anyway I don't know nothing about early fighting in the Pit. I know nothing.

Oh, and as for WHEN to go into the Pit, I suggest in between Chapter 4 and 5. Chapter 5 and 6 have a lot of backtracking and moving across ridiculously long distances.

Well, I beat the Flipside pit of 100 trial today.

The last chapter entered was 2-1. I has Mario and Peach, and Thorau and Boomer. I was at level 5 when I entered it.

The Flipside pit doesn't need much strategy, indeed. It's quite easy.

Well, in any case, I have learned a lot of tricks to use.

First of all, I had nothing but recovory items. All 10 slots had one.
I had to use the items at the MINUTE I could use them with their full potential.
I picked up every rocovery items I found. If I had my pocket full of them, I threw one and used another immediatly, and picked the one I threw.

Now for the attack strategies.

Here, I had only 2 pixl: Thorau and Boomer. The strategy is to switch constantly between them as needed, and even to use them as a combo. As some of you know, and some of you don't, you can place boomer on the ground and pick him up with Thorau. There are many ways to use the combo, including:

- Attacking ennemies from below, and EVEN if they are seperated to you by a row of blocks. This strategy is exellent against Ninjoes, Nonjohns and Ninjerries.
- Throwing a bomb at ennemies that will attack you if you get close (Clubba is a good exemple. Dayzees are, too).

Use Thoreau at your own advantage, but don't use him in big frays. Remember that you can't move for the time you pick up something, and you are very vulnerable.

The biggest problems you may encounter in the pit are Koopatrols (High defense and HP), Dayzees, Magikoopas, and Soopa Strikers. The rest won't normally cause much trouble.

Also note that I was at level 5, AKA in a normal level for the end of chapter 2-1, when I entered. Lower leveled may still have trouble if they get stuck in a swarm of attack, as it causes big risks. But if you considerate every move you do and the opponent's, that hopefully won't happen.

Now I got to do the flopside pit, AND try the flipside pit at the lowest level possible.
