[Big Lantern Ghost]

Wee Hee Hee Hee!

An impenetrable, incessant sheet of frozen precipitation suffocated the bleak darkness. Like crystaline darts, the icy raindrops plummeted into the smoothened cobble pathway, each wailing a saddened note as it hurtled down from the spectacular moonlit clouds that crept over the crescent moon with grim claws of vapour. A single abrupt thud hushed the strident downpour as if startled. The harsh barrage of icy wind stabbed at exposed tree branches causing them to rattle unnervingly. The rustic gate shuddered from the invisible daggers swiping at the flaking paint, sending shards of black crust into the night sky to be consumed by the rain. A harsh light broke the eerie darkness with a thick vibrant beacon that lingered upon the beautiful cobbled pathway depicting every feature intricately with it's piercing light. A cloaked figuire crept out of the shadowed mist and into the sharp focus of the lantern candle, it's inconspicious figuire hidden by a tattered cloak, each feature vividly etched into the soaked cloth depicting a unsettling grin that hung wildly on the seemingly lifeless body that it belonged to. And with a sharp crack, all was consumed by darkness.....
