Hello people.
In this topic I wish to discuss references to things outside Super Paper Mario that are IN Super Paper Mario. And I do not mean within the Mario series, and please do not bring the Sammer Guys into this  .
Anyway, to start the discussion I have a few:
In Merlee's Mansion, level three ( Breaking the Bank ), the people who pay you the Rubees have an Egyptian like hat on and a whip. This is a reference to the fact that the Egyptians had slaves long ago.
A pretty obvious reference is Chapter 7-3. The chapter itsself is not the reference, per se, but the name is: '' The Forbidden Fruit ''. This may very well be a reference to the book of Genesis in the Bible. |
