Perhaps a "serious discussion" area, where people are expected to talk more seriously about more serious issues.
We can talk about more serious subjects in there without having people coming in and spamming or making way off-topic comments, and it's a good way to hear the thoughts and opinions of others on this forum when it comes to issues in the world right now (global warming, the "war" on "terror", etc.)
Just a suggestion. |

Not really RESTRICTED, I mean everyone can access it... but it's not for funnies, it's for serious discussion of SERIOUS issues.
Every forum with a serious discussion forum has a lot less spam, because it tends to weed out the idiots that POST spam. They tend to steer away from the serious discussion forum, and therefore cause a lot less trouble.
If you're not following my logic... it creates a forum where spam is pretty much disallowed. |

I don't agree with limiting it like that.
I DO, however, believe that anyone who does not post SERIOUSLY in that section should be banned from it. |

Not entirely. It is restricted, but it is, as Kitsune said, a serious discussion. It would be more of a world issues topic. The moderator(s) would keep from spamming and any other "junk". |
