An EPIC cloud of darkness blanketed the skies that night. The fateful night - the moon's night. Yeah... that's what they called it. THE NIGHT THE MOON CAME.

MALAK was getting an autograph from Luigi over at Role-Play Off-Topic at the time. The red-hatted pink puffball gazed upwards as the shadowy veil fell in place, and the glowing sphere emerged, illuminating the countenace of others nearby - Maya Fey checking out Nerrettes, Mona delivering a pizza. Rawrskey was the unwilling receiver of said pizza, and immediately told Mona that she'd have to pay for the damage done to the window. Mona promptly ran away, looking upwards at the Moon as she did so.

As a matter of fact, everyone looked up at almost the exact same time. Vaati, Yellow Magikoopa, a mysterious Magic 8-Ball... Mama Luigi.

Wait, wut? Magic 8-Ball?

Yes... perhaps IT knew the answer. And that answer was 'mashed potatoes!'

Yes, mashed potatoes caused the Moon to make its EPIC appearance... or did they?

All the while, Francis hid in the shadows, waiting for the opportune moment. And let's not forget frozenwinters, who was creating a formula that would-- err, never mind. That's a secret.

All were left in wonder at the sudden appearance of the Moon... and let me tell you, this was no Moodswing Moon. Medikoopa knew this at once. How many sleepless nights had she experienced, and how many dreams had been plagued by nightmares of that horrid moon in what few moments of sleep she did manage to capture? Yet this one was just as evil... right?

Or was the evil simply in the minds of the Digibutterans?

That's when Francis made his move. That's when he revealed... the greatest secret. And that secret was--

Everyone gasped in shock, as a terrible Nerr roar echoed through the skies, shaking the earth itself. Yet none had lost their balance. They could only gaze upwards in pure and total awe as Francis's sickly green pallor became gradually darker, and wild fur began to spring from the pores of his very skin... they could only watch as enormous fangs sprouted from his lizard lips, and behind his glasses, his eyes took on a feral, yellow glow.

Yet when he spoke, Francis sounded just like he normally did.

"Nerrrr... why do you recoil, my fellow Digibutterans? See my power... see my fur... but do not touch! This werenerr has bite."

The Magic 8-Ball rolled forward, allowing Francis to take it in his hands, which had now become sharp claws. Francis immediately shook the onyx sphere, and looked upon its glassy window. He gave a satisfied nod, and read aloud for all to hear:

"Behold! The Magic 8-Ball has recognized my power. It foretells... of DOOM! And TERROR! Also, DESPAIR!"

Everyone gasped in horror, except for Rawrskey. MALAK chose to step forward, and address Francis.

"Listen, uh... Your Wolfliness. How can you be happy that eval stuff like THAT is gonna happen? I'm c0nfused, lol."

Francis leapt forward suddenly, baring his newly-sprouted fangs. He let out a low snarl, driving the crowd backwards.

"SHUT UP! THAT'S HOW!"

Meanwhile... one member of the crowd had wandered off to the side...

It was time. Hurriedly drawing out a glass vile from his awsum hammerspace, frozenwinters drank the secret formula he had recently concocted. He let out a cry, but stifled it quickly, so as not to alert Francis. Now he, too, was changing beneath the powerful beams of the Moon... a cloak formed around his body, and his eyes became white as chalk. Fangs sprouted from his gums... and in mere moments, frozenwinters had transformed into a mighty vampire.

"No way are you gonna get away with this, Francis," muttered Vampire, stealing away to a secret fortress in RPOT he had long been saving for such a moment. He would gather followers, by sending out his winged messengers to urge they join the resistance. He had to recruit a large enough force, before Francis infected everyone in Digibutt...

Oh, dear. Vampires versus werewolves. AGAIN?!

Back at the crowd...

Gear, who had been listening curiously the whole time, let out a burst of flame, setting Francis's fur on fire. Francis screamed, and ran away.

"Guess he wasn't so tough after all..."

"Don't be so sure," replied ShadowArticuno, peering towards the retreating werenerr. "I got a scan of him with my scouter, and his power level... is OVER NINE-*CRAGGING*-THOUSAND!!!"

"That joke's getting old, you know," muttered Plastic Mario.

"Look who's talking!" Mona laughed. "Your avatar seems to say otherwise, you hypocrite."

"... Shut up."

"Guys, guys!" Mama Luigi shouted, eager to make himself heard over the tumult. "Can't we all stop arguing for just one moment and focus on the situation at hand?!"

Everyone stared at him.

"... Lolwut?" Mama Luigi added, shrugging.

"... That's what I thought," said Maya, turning away. "Well... what're we going to do now?"

"HEY GUYS I HAVE COME NOW TO TAKE YOUR SOULS HAHA NO I AM KIDDING WELL SOMETHING LIKE THAT I AM VAATI AND NOW YOU WILL BE BECOME VAMPIRES IN MY ARMY OF UNDEAD MINIONS YES, WE ARE OF THE DARKNESS AND ALL WHO STAND AGAINST US WILL FAL AND THAT IS WHY YOU MUST JOIN ME."

"What the hell?!" Yellow Magikoopa said, looking around.

"Oh no..." muttered Plastic Mario.

"ROOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAA" *MOON HOWL YES A MOON HOWL FOR I AM A WEREWOLF*

"It's VAATI!"
