Ok, here I go. You know how the interest rate is 1% every 2 days? I think that every 2 days it should change into a random number, from 1%-5%. And the number would change AFTER interest is rewarded. Discuss. |

A real bank isn't like that, however. What some real banks DO have is an increased interest rate based on how much you have in the bank. A person with 50 coins in the bank would get a higher interest rate than someone with 10 coins in the bank.
But maybe if we want to control how much the people with a lot in the bank get richer, make it take longer for them to collect interest. For example, if someone get bumped up an interest percentage, it will take them another day to collect interest. From !% every other day to @% every 3 days. |

I never said I was complaining. I was SUGGESTING. Very big difference. Also, it would feel more bank-ish if there were changing interst rates. |

You are only offered higher interest rates if you agree to keep your money there for longer. Like a 1 year CD will return higher rates than just a regular savings account. I suppose I could do something like that where you agree to lock up your money for a month, in exchange for a higher return, with hefty fee for withdrawing early.

Or it could be used as an asylum. But that's just me being selfish. |
