I've seen the entire trilogy. I kinda liked the forshadowing that could be found in it. In the first movie, Doc Brown even mentions something about the possibility of going to the future to see who wins some kind of sporting event (forshadows the second movie), the possibility of going to the old west (third movie), and the possibility of solving the greatest mystery of all, women (also third movie).
Another amusing thing in the trilogy is that all three of them show the scene where the bolt of lightning strikes the clock tower, thus providing the electricity needed for the Delorean to go back to the present. There's also how in each of the movies Marty ends up knocked unconscious and wakes up to find his mother (or in the third movie, his grandmother with a number of greats that I can't recall) caring for him. There's also the fact that there is a bullet-proof vest used in each of the three movies.
The third movie also provided an easy way to explain what steampunk is. |

Did you know that they originally planned to have the time machine in the movie be a fridge? Just imagine how difficult it would be to get a fridge to go 88 MPH. |
