It's just that someone does a bunch to kill you, then a second later they have a life shroom. The underwhere is dull, and boring, but that place could have alot more spirit (pun) if it were more difficult to get a life shroom, therefore, people are there longer. The only punishment for death is loss of avatar anyway.
