1. Make your own Mii for the contest, preferably from the beginning. This should be obvious.

2. Go to the posting plaza and seek out a Mii that matches the contest, then select "Call Friends". Search through the selection until you find some that are better than the ones you made. Import them to your Mii Plaza for easy access.

3. Now, put your Mii right next to the other Mii to compare them. Try to find the differences, then implement them into your own Mii.

4. Of course, you certainly won't win just by copying somebody else's Mii. Instead, search out ways to improve upon it. Perhaps the hair could be a darker color, or the mouth a bit bigger? Many subtle changes such as these will make a huge difference in the long run.

5. Now, compare your Mii to the real thing. How does it look? Can you improve on it any more?

With these five steps, you'll probably have a shot at winning the Mii contests! Now go out there and show the world what you and Mii can do!

I just did that exact thing, in every way you described. I found a Hatless Mario in the 50 Most Popular, copied it, then made it better as best as I could. Anyway, nice tips. The competition's gonna be cutthroat, after all. You gotta do what you gotta do to win. Razz

I didn't do anything like that, actually. That's probably the reason I will not win this contest.
Do you guys know if multiple entries are allowed?

Yeah and then someone copies your Mii. Which is why the whole thing is silly. Thousands of identical entries, so if you win, it was probably by luck.

What they need to do is allow groups of friends, and you compete amongst them instead of millions of other people.

I don't influence me to make the best-looking Mario.

I can see the next Mii Contest being a Hatless Link, in honor of Link's Crossbow Training!
