fo anyone who doesn't know, you find luigi early on in a haunted mansion. after that, he'll help you find stars in galaxies you've already beaten, then he'll send you a letter saying he's stuck. it you get a star with him there (including the one in teh haunted mansion) he'll jump up behind you when you grab the star.
